Hello, I'm Jon, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. James H. Martin. My research interests include computational semantics, understanding speaker intentions, and information-theoretic learning approaches. Before joining CU Boulder, I was lucky to have Prof. Kevin Gimpel at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) as my advisor, where I focused on text classification and representation learning. My work is driven by a deep curiosity to bridge the gap between human communication and artificial intelligence. 🚀🤖🧠
